CBC MARCH PROGRAM ON THE STORRS CENTER PROJECT

HARTFORD, CT – On the heels of UConn’s ambitious 20-year campus renovation, the Town of Mansfield has embarked on its own complementary public-private partnership to create a true college town and regional center of commerce, with a vibrant residential component. The first phase of the mixed-use development, located at the crossroads of the town center and UConn, is now under construction.

On Tuesday, March 13th speakers Matthew Hart (Town Manager, Town of Mansfield), Cynthia van Zelm (Executive Director, Mansfield Downtown Partnership, Inc.), Macon Toledano (VP Planning & Development, Leyland Alliance, LLC, Master Developer) and John Hankins (Senior Vice President, Fuss & O’Neill, Moderator) will discuss the evolution of the project from the original vision to the final implementation. Attendees will also learn about future phases of the project and the opportunities being created.

Registration is available on CBC’s website, www.cbc-ct.org.
