Connecticut Building Congress Hosts 'Meet the Candidates: Election Year Outlook'

HARTFORD, CT

The Connecticut Building Congress will host the program “Meet the Candidates: Election Year Outlook” on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Central Connecticut State University’s Memorial Hall (Constitution Room, second floor), 1612 Stanley Street, New Britain, Connecticut.  The event will start at 5:30 pm with networking and registration.

With Connecticut's gubernatorial election scheduled for November 6, 2018, the candidates are getting ready!  Invitations have been extended to Democratic and Republican candidates to speak directly to the A/E/C industry in a moderated forum on their vision for construction in Connecticut.  Alissa DeJonge, Economist and Vice President of Research at the Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC), will moderate this event, and offer insight on key economic indicators and expectations for the regional construction market.

Also meet CBC's Past Presidents as they are honored for helping to build the organization’s long history!

We welcome college and high school students with an interest in the design and construction industry, especially those from CBC's alliance colleges: Capital Community College Construction Management and Engineering Technology programs and Central Connecticut State University Construction Management program.

5:30 - 6:30 PM: Networking and Registration
